Aktris asal Irlandia Florence Ordesh mengungkapkan pengalamannya beradu akting dengan aktor Adam Scott dalam film thriller supranatural terbaru bertajuk Hokum yang telah tayang di bioskop seluruh Amerika Serikat pada awal Mei 2026.
Film yang disutradarai oleh Damian McCarthy ini mencatatkan kesuksesan kritis dengan mempertahankan skor 89 persen di Rotten Tomatoes setelah tayang perdana di festival SXSW.
Ordesh yang memerankan karakter penting bernama Fiona menceritakan dinamika di lokasi syuting bersama Adam Scott yang menjadi lawan mainnya.
"He didn't stay in character, luckily! Otherwise, I don't know what I'd do. He was lovely, so pleasant, and incredibly easy to talk to. It was great having him around and watching him discover some of the most random, remote spots in Ireland." kata Florence Ordesh saat diwawancarai oleh Marisel.
Selain membahas kepribadian Scott, Ordesh juga membagikan kesannya ketika harus membawakan peran yang memiliki nuansa misterius dan seperti hantu dalam film tersebut.
"It was definitely a unique experience, and I don't know if I will ever have the opportunity to play a character quite like that again. But it was so much fun! Even though it was a bit sad for me to play that role, it was just so atmospheric and sweet. I loved the fairy-story elements of the script." ujar Florence Ordesh.
Aktris yang juga lulusan MBA dari Trinity College Dublin ini kemudian mengungkapkan adanya detail unik atau easter egg terkait pelafalan nama karakter utama yang disadari olehnya saat menghadiri acara pemutaran perdana.
"Yes! I was watching the movie at the premiere, and I realized that almost all of the characters pronounce Adam Scott’s character's name, Ohm Bauman, differently throughout the film. I say 'O,' but someone else says 'Ah.' Everyone pronounces his name wrong, so that’s a fun little quirk of the movie if anyone notices!" tutur Florence Ordesh.
Ketika ditanya mengenai film ikonik yang ingin ia bintangi jika diproduksi ulang, Ordesh menyebutkan karakter Trinity dari film The Matrix yang diperankan oleh Carrie-Anne Moss sebagai peran impiannya.
"Growing up, my absolute favorite actress was Sandra Bullock in Miss Congeniality. But when The Matrix came out, I totally fell for Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity. I actually just watched it for the seventh time a few months ago! If I could reboot that movie and step into her role, that would be my ultimate dream. I’ve never done action, but a role like that would be incredible." ungkap Florence Ordesh.
Ordesh yang sebelumnya pernah terlibat dalam serial Foundation dan Dublin Murders kini sedang disibukkan dengan proses produksi untuk proyek film psikologis thriller terbarunya yang berjudul The Dark Side of June.
